Welcome to our foundation
With our foundation, we are committed to making figure skating more accessible and affordable. Figure skating is a beautiful sport. Because it is so technical, children often start at a young age to master the skills required. Many hours of training are needed to ultimately achieve the level of perfection they strive for. Ice rental is expensive in the Netherlands, and in addition to the ice costs, there are also expenses for coaches, equipment, choreography, off-ice training, and more.
Figure skating is therefore an expensive sport. Sadly, we often see very talented children forced to quit because their parents can no longer bear the high costs. Our mission is that no talent should be lost for financial reasons. As a foundation, we are working to change this. We contribute by ensuring that all profits generated by the skating school are used to support the foundation’s objectives. In addition, we are continuously seeking opportunities for sponsorship and financial support for our foundation.
